This coffee blend is a pure espresso blend of whole arabica coffee beans. The coffee was decaffeinated. So you can enjoy the delicious taste of coffee even in the evening.
Déca coffee without chemicals
The Swiss Water Process method does not involve any chemicals at all. The process is based on the solubility of caffeine and on osmosis to remove caffeine from green coffee beans. It requires only water. And a sophisticated course of soaking, rinsing and filtering through special charcoal filters.
That way the caffeine is washed away, while the flavors just stay in the green coffee beans.
No caffeine, just lots of flavor
Déca coffee is often a bland reflection of the original, but just because of the described decaffeination process without chemicals, the flavors remain in the green coffee beans. So they can be roasted by the master roaster just as well as any other bean. And you get just as delicious a cup of coffee as the result.

During the processing of many coffees, due to excessive roasting, a lot of acrylamides are formed, a substance that can be created by burning starchy products. Acrylamides are quite unhealthy and harmful. That's not what even the lover of strong coffee wants. We therefore exclude the very strongest roasts with a high risk of acrylamides.
By roasting the fresh and high-quality coffee beans at a lower temperature and a little longer, the delicious flavors and aromas come into their own. The slower and moderate roasting method ensures us a healthy and high-quality coffee. It allows our coffee roaster to do tight acrylamide monitoring at each roast.
